Translating PRN Files

I have some .prn files and would like to view and edit the
contents. Is there any software capable of importing or opening these files?

PRN files were created by various DOS applications in various formats. Usually they were text files with special characters to control printer formatting. The special characters would be application and printer specific.
You could probably read the text part in an editor like Notepad.
