transfer multiple x_b files to prt 2

Hi,

I wonder if there is a way that I can import a folder of x_b files and export as prt file type to another folder?

I felt it is a bit dumb to open the file one by one and then "save as"...

well, you could bring all into one file and then create a component of each one of those parasolids under create new component
I am also certain a program can be written to do what you want

I used to have a ufunc dll thats cycled through a selected folder and convert x_t to .prt

I cannot find it now.
if you goto GTAC and search on document nx_api2673 and/or nx_api4824 it may lead you to it.

Test it.

Open NX, any blank prt-file. Ctrl+U, select this DLL, and type folder path with your parasolid files.

Works for me, I copy then paste the path.
The one I used to have opened a browse dialog and cycled through sub folders too. I haven't had a need for it in quite a long time.
