I am trying to use a variable section sweep to rotate a surface along a trajectory. My problem is that every time I try to do this, trajpar evaluates to zero and the surfaces doesn't rotate around the trajectory (it just stays parallel to it). I'm using a relation like D6=trajpar*360 where D6 is the angle of the surface. I don't understand why this won't work.

Which option are you using:

NrmToOriginTraj—Select the Origin Trajectory

Norm To Traj—Select the Origin Trajectory and an additional trajectory to which the section will remain normal.

Do you trust your intuition or go with the flow?

I finally figured out what my problem was. I was trying to make a relation after I had created the surface instead of when I was still in sketch mode while I was still drawing the profile.
