Trail file playing error

hi all,


Iam surprised on why the play trail stopped replaying the session, it gave the following error, after playing many steps..

ERROR: Trail file out of sequence at line 2003.


what does this mean? I did not do any thing in the trail file..

In short: The trail instructs proe to do something it can not do. Maybe to create a feature that is already created (if you use the trail to re-do work after a crash).


Normally you have to 'clean' a trail to be able to run, in your case line 2003 and the ones after would have to go.


There is also a config.pro setting "set_trail_single_step Yes" that allows you to go through the trail step-by-step to try and see what it does. In this case you would have to press "any key" >2000 times before you get to the critical point...


To conclude: My own experience with trailfiles is that they go out of sequence more often then they "stay in sequence". They are also like chains, the more links/rows the greater the possibility that one of them is faulty/leads out of sequence.
