Hi,

I'm purchasing some sub-meters for main switch boards.
Typical installation will monitor total three phase power used on 480/277 three phase wye branch circuits leaving the main switch board and feeding remote distribution boards.

Can I do this with only ABC phase ct’s not monitor the neutral current? (that is: I do not want to purchase and wire a ct for the neutral conductor.)

I'm only interested in total three phase power leaving the main switch board for each three phase branch circuit and I do not care about power used per phase.

Thanks,
Andy

Three CTs on a four wire circuit is a Blondel solution. That is all that is needed.
