Total Cost of Ownership for Valves and Pumps

Dear Eng-Tipers:

I have been tasked with the production of TCOs for Valves and Pumps for a new chemical plant project. I have never done these TCOs. Can some knowledgeable engineering expert versed in this type of calculations point me to publications, books, standards, guidelines, etc to get me started in this task?. I would very much appreciate all the help provided.
