Torsional spring

Hello Everyone,

I am attempting to create quite a simple model in Abaqus Standard.

I would like to join two rectangular shell plates with a torsional spring. The spring needs to be able to bend along its length during the simulation. How can I do this? I have tried with connections, but they don't seem to work when the spring bends along its length, although I may be using them incorrectly...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bending means that the end point rotate relative to each other. With a connector can add elasticity into that relative movement.
