Suppose an inclined thread for use in an oilfield tubing application is torqued to 20 ft kip, right hand. I need to get off of this connection at a maximum of one-third that value, left hand. Obviously it is not possible using a simple box & pin connection. Is there another way to do this? Has anyone understand how "Canfish" works, is it just a simple serated plate at the mating shoulders of the connection?
