Swertel mentioned the tools for tidying data prior to putting it in Insight.
Anyone have any experience using these tools?
How good are they really?
We've had mixed opinions here and want a point of view from outside the UGS fold.
My line manager has got extremely cold feet on Insight.
He's putting problems on Insight which are really problems of how we've stored our SE data, not really Insight itself.
A colleague and I have got to either find a way of achieving implementation for a really low fee, come up with a really good case for doing it to support the amount of effort/money we think it will take or persuade them to abandon it.
I don't want to abandon it as, even though I don't want to do it, I think it is really important.
I suspect that no matter how good a business case we put forward it will be seen as a ‘soft’ cost saving and not really counted.
Hence we need to find a cheap easy way to do the implementation for which these tools would probably be essential.
Thanks for any help,
Ken
