Tools->"Options" not showing up??

I have had several cases where I have been working on a part or assembly and needed to change somthing under the "options" menu. The "options" link in the tools menu is not there. I have made sure the current command was closed and I am still having this happen. I can close the part and then re-open and the options menu is available. Is this normal?

At the bottom of the Tools pulldown there should be a "Customize Menu" option. Select that and make sure tehre is a checkmark by Options.

You may have to do this in part and assembly mode.

Go to tools > customize menu....the make sure it's checked. I'm not sure if their is a user config file that saves the settings from each SWx session. That was something I liked about Pro/e was the config file options. I've worked through all the service packs and haven't found this to be a problem.

Don't know if anybody's had the same problem, but for me the "Options" item won't stay selected when you go to customize menu. I select "Options" from the Customize Menu, then click somewhere else to get out of that menu, but options still does not appear in the menu.

Has anybody seen this?

Never had a problem. How was SW2005 installed? Was it a clean install or was it updated from SW2004?

SW2005 was installed cleanly, not updated from 2004, though I do have 2004 installed seperately on the same machine.

I had the same problem on one of the beta releases for 2005, submitted the problem and it was fixed in the next beta, but it re-appeared in the released version.
