I have just joined a company and my first assignment is to workout on the toolings, jigs & fixtures for hanging large steel parts on continuous conveyor for pre-treatment and powder coating. Can anyone just guide me so that I could regularly took the feed back and support in this regard.

Thanks in advance

The basics would be to ensure you know the inner and outer turn radii of your converyor system. Once you get this envelope, it should be easy to determine what the spacing between parts and hangers are going to be. "Happy the Hare at morning for she is ignorant to the Hunter's waking thoughts."

If the part passes thru a pretreatment system that utilizes a wet solution spray and/or rinse the part should be hung at an angle or oriented to facilitate drainage of sprayed fluids and elimination of "puddles".
