Good morning....
I recently upgraded from swx 2010 sp0.0 to sp4.0. All was well, then about 2 weeks in swx just decided to not run. By that I mean when starting the program, the hourglass comes up, goes away, and nothing happens. The only process running would be swBOEngine.exe.

So I did a "repair", and the toolbars just started randomly moving around. Looking at some other posts and saving the settings out seemed to improve the situation. The major issue is that when moving a toolbar to a different location, swx freezes for 25 seconds.....can't do anything.

So that's not going to work out well. Any ideas how to remedy this? Is a "repair" generally not the way to go?
thanks!

GP,

Do you realise that the toolbars are mode-specific? (part model, assy model, drawing)

CB - I'm aware. The 25 sec wait between moving toolbars is a drag, but I'll get through it.

Are you up to date with the ".Net Framewotk" files? They can affect SW that way.

No clue what you are talking about. Do I just install the latest version?

I'll go with Eltron on this one. Get rid of the toolbars, they are so 2008. Your 'S' key and the command manager can take care of 99% of your tools.
