Hi all,

I have a coupling between two bodies: a rectangular plate supported by two "C" housings. The plate is uniformly loaded on its surfeces. I would create a ProMEch analysis, considering thegap (i.e. 0.1 mm ) between two surfeces.

I dont want to use "contacts" because it is computationally heavy. Is there a way to manage it, for example with interfaces or other commands?

CATIA FEM is able to consider a gap between two coupled surfaces... and ProE?

Thanks,

Paolo
