We are not only engineers, but racers, too. You need to formulate your question with more emphasis on details! Especially, since you state this is a mandated tire/wheel combo. Are all the others in you class of racing having the same problem?
If not, you might look into the suspension setup but, most probably, find out what the driver is doing to cause this "excessive" sliding. With so little information, that's my first bet.
All tires deform in corning at relatively high g forces. If it's a class thing, what's the problem? You looking for the "unfair advantage"?
