I've got a couple of ideas for gettin tire data from telemetry on a race car, but was wondering if anyone knew anymore about the subject. The Bosch program has this ability, do any other programs? A solution with the minimum amount of sensors is what im looking for, but would like some info on all known solutions.

I don't know quite what you are getting at. We use wheel force transducers to measure the three forces and three moments generated at the wheel hub, at 250 Hz. As it happens we record to hard disk inside the car, but it would be trivial to use a wireless modem to broadcast them.

What are you actually trying to do?

Trying to get tire data, without the hassel of having someone test them for us.
