I would like to know what are the effects of number of teeth, pitch of the timing belt on the torque transmission. Moreover, what are the main parameters to select the timing belt pulley in order transmit 1N.m torque.

search Browning or any other brand of P.D. belts.
You'll probably have to "register" to use an online catalog, but they have a lot of information and specs on their products.

Mohawad,

In terms of toque transmision you have asked a very broad question. Just remember that the type of timing sprocket, width of belt, belt material, etc will determine your total solution. What are the input and output speeds you are trying to acheive? Is the Timing belt just transmitting power or are you using to position something? Are there space or weight considerations? You need to further define what you are trying to do and give more details before you ask for suggestions. Once you have the parameters, inputs, outputs etc, then you can consult any number of vendors of components for selection and options. I like to refer to Martin Sprocket and Gear.

Hope this helps.
