I am learning to use Plaxis and I can't seem to understand how to make a time-settlement curve to correlate to a time-settlement curve made from the analytical 1D consolidation theory (in Plaxis I am using a linear elastic model with no horisontal flow allowed and Poisson's ratio of 0 so I can match de 1D consolidation theory as much as possible). My curve in plaxis is not following a similar path as the 1d consolidation theory curve. In fact it is shooting in the other way. Close to the time of U=0.9 the settlements are close, however, for the other section of U=0.1 to 0.89 the error is very big. Any recommendations?
