Hi everybody,

i'm a "new born" engineer, i work under ansys and i don't manage to apply a time-dependent temperature on my model.

I would like to simulate a cooling from 800 to 100 °C with a velocity of 4°C per minute, and then a free cooling until 20°C (room temperature).

Which commands must i use to do so ?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Jeremy

Hi,

I would try a full transient analysis. Look at these commands in the ansys help:

antype
time
deltim
kbc
autots
ic

Also look at the "Chapter 5. Transient Dynamic Analysis" in the ansys help.

Regards,
Alex
