Does anyone know what types of timbers are good to use in a constant wet/dry freshwater environment? I can’t use treated pine because of the DEP regulations. I am looking at using either fiber reinforcement composites or Greenheart. I don’t need anything with a high structural capacity. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Sustainable tropical hardwood timbers species include Greenheart, Ekki, Opepe. Also FSC certified Cloeziana, Oak, Massaranduba, Garapa, Angelim, Ipe and many others.
