I would like to know the good practices to installe tilt switches?
The problem is we have some of them installed in plant to measure the level of solids (sulfure) and they get buried when the level is hi, it doesn´t tilt as it should in order to detect hi level in the process...

Hi,
I once worked in a large copper mine, we used dozens of these which we would hang on a length of chain to one side of the fill point. We used them for rock from 1/4" to 3" with good success. They always seemed to ride on the surface.
