Tie Wire

I am currently working on some interior metal stud framing. The framing is suspended from the metal deck above around the perimeter. The contractor is utilizing 12 gage steel tie wire (@48" c/c) to help support/ suspend the interior ceiling members. Does anyone know the allowable tension for this tie wire?
