Threads in Inventor

In Inventor 2011, in a part file, on the ribbon, under model tab, in the modify panel, I pick "Thread".
No display comes up.
I wanted to add an external thread to a rod.
I just recently updated from 2010 to 2011, and I had the display for the "thread" come up in 2010.
Is there a setting somewhere I could be missing?

Is this the same machine you had 2010 installed on?
If so, did you follow the Autodesk Clean Uninstall document?

when installing 2011 did you turn off anti-virus and UAC during install?
Try a Repair Install?
Install Service Pack 1?
