Hi all,
What I'm looking to do is fit a good number of large bars to the ends of 12" CMU shear walls and would like to call out threaded mechanical rebar couplings to reduse the area of steel created by a lap splice. I am just wondering if anyone knows of a manufacturer who includes design loads in their product catalog. Thanks a lot!

I believe that these are all designed for full bars strength development.

A further issue with these is that the elongation at the coupler is greater than that for a bar, I believe that this is limited to 110% but I cant recall the code number.

All patented connectors are rated at 125% of the rebar strength.
