Thick-Thin Sheel,Thick-Thin Plate

I was modellng an compoiste section using SAP2000 however I had confused by the number of choices for area sections.The major problem is I do not have any idea of the properties of thick-thin sheel,thick-thin plate sections?Thanks.

I guess one is strickly for steel with some design parameters already built-in. Another is just the general case of plate made of steel, concrete...You may have to assign the properties of the plate material.
