I'd like a bit of guidance on thermoformed parts. The shop built two sets (8 total) of thermoformed panels to replace damaged parts several years ago. The molds were based on dimensions from the damaged parts. The parts were built from .100 thick Kydex 100.

Now, they want a drawing (my job) to send out for manufacture. Also, I am not familiar with thermoforming. Is there a standard method to determine loss of thickness when drawing the sheet into the mold? What other considerations do I need to be aware of?

Thanks
