I am doing R&D work on a heated body at 850C and thermally insulated. There are metal pipes feeding in and out of body through insulation and these are acting as thermal bridges conducting heat out of body.

I am looking for piping and fittings to feed into body at 850C and yet thermally isolate it. I am thinking of hybrid pipe fittings with low thermal conductive material like zirconia for pipe and bonded to stainless steel fittings like flanges, unions thread to allow connections to be made.

Sizes under 1/2 BSP. Pressure up to 2 bar. Medium steam/water. Didtance to cross 50-70 mm.

Does anybody know of manufacturer of such products?

Thanks in advance

Can you consider something simpler like an insulating washer/gasket clamped between flanges? The remaining thermal link with the bolts can be interrupted with insulating shoulder washers or something similar.

Bellows are sometimes used. If you have enough room you can spiral the pipe in the insulation rather than come straight out.
