I am looking into improving the thermal efficiency of a thermal oxidiser burning solvent laden air (methanol, acetone etc.). I need to understand the relationship between oxidising temperature and CO NOx SOx emmisions.

Has anybody looked into this ?

Thanks
Terry

To understand the mechanisms of formation of these oxides, and the dependence on temperature, among other factors, it's possible that you may find help in Air Pollution Control Engineering by Noel de Nevers, McGraw-Hill. [smile]

I need to understand your application. Due you operate a RTOx or Recoup system?

Thank You
