Hi Everyone,


I have a small problem and i would be very greatfull if someone can help me. I am using pro Mechanica for a couple of time and i would like someone to check my work because i am the only person i use Pro mechanica in my workplace. I attached a pdf document with my questions and details in my problem. I would appreciate if someone has the time to review it and tell me what he thinks.

Its hard to decipher your analysis but things to check

1. interface displacements are same for housing and
sleeve
2. interface pressure are same for h & s

You've got very close with your hand calc - check your
interface stress as well. The housing out-of-round is
small only 8micron - could be from non-uniform stiffness
of housing or placement of measure.

Be careful where you place your measures - try and
measure away from edges. Position of Z constraint may
also affect results. Check effect of mesh density thru
sleeve
