Is Thermal Design of HP & LP Boiler Feed Water Heaters covered by HTRI.
If not what software is used for the same.
I believe these Heat Exchangers involve De-super Heating, Condensing and Sub- cooling of Shell side Steam by Tube side Feed water. Baffle configuration needs to be assessed for each operation.

HEI is a standard with minimum requirements of FWHs and does not provide Thermal design methods of same like that of HTRI / HTFS for conventional Heat Exchangers.

If your question is wrt to accurate prediction of two phase shellside pressure drop with some kind of low pressure drop baffle design ( for example NTIW or divided flow), then ask the folks in HTRI / HTFS what level of accuracy their program predicts.
