THE SURFACE ASSEMBLY__MIXORDER0_PART-4-1_S HAS BEEN DEFINED MORE THAN ONCE. REMOVE DUPLICATE DEFINIT

Hi all,

I cheked the model several times and I am kind of crazy with this error since some days, some Idea / experience?

thnks all

I also had a similar message the other day, does this surface belong to a rigid body? I think in my case it had something to do with the fact that I defined the surface in the Part, then again in Constraints.

Anyway, in my case it was quite easy to go into the .inp-file using a text editor, find the duplicate surface and delete the lines that were redundant.

Hope this helps

thanks 4 the reply

It is not a rigid body. I also solved the problem editing the inp, but I did not check that the results where plausible, instead, what it actually was the root of the problem is the using of different type of elements in the same part (linear and cuadratic). Once I assigned quadratic elements to the whole part the simulation runned without problem.

cheers
