Problem with many of the reprinted editions of old classics is the poor quality.It seems they use some software to print which bring in many mistakes plus poor sketches and drawings.You can get scanned copies 19th and early 20th centuary books million-books.com at a small price.Another site is ulib.org
 
and James Watt (of lightbulb fame <G>)... and his invention of the governor... to control the speed...
