Dear participants!

I have a problem maintaining the estimated performance in a two phase pipeline transporting steam/liquid from a well to a power plant, due to a decisive slugflow in the pipe.

Illustration:
The pipe is horizontal, well temp. 240°, pipe pressure 6 bar (gauge), pipe diameter 406 mm (16”). The pipe is designed to transfer 10 kg/s of steam and 50 kg/s liquid (brine).

All tips for approaching the phenomena “slug flow” are appreciated

Sincerly, 2-phase
