The compressed spring used in cryogenic temperature

Hi,
In normal temperature, the spring is compressed to △L2; But in cryogenic temperature, due to dimensions shrinkage (the length of spring shrink, and both ends of the dimensions of components shrink), the pre-compression is reduced (up to △L1),at this time, the reducing range of output force of the spring is modest.

Do you use this kind of spring? If used, how about the structure?

I've designed the check valves used in reciprocating cryogenic pumps including springs. I don't generally consider the differential thermal contraction since it's so small relative to other dimensions and issues. Note also that the modulus of elasticity increases as you go down in temperature so the spring stiffness actually increases very slightly at cryogenic temperature. In general, these are not factors that need to be taken into account, at least in my work.
