I have an assembly with multiple instances.
I include all instances in one drawing. Resulting in 10 (top) views each with an instance from the family table.

Now I have two questions :
- How to add a line of text to a view, that "sticks" to that view.
- How to make that line of text show the actual instance that is being used.

Thanks in advance !

Sander.

Sander,

I think what you are looking for is select the text block, Edit>Group>Relate to To View and choose the view you want the text block to be associated with.

For Proe 2001.

Tools,Draft View,Set current

Pick the view you want then select add and pick the note you want.

Views, dwg models, set model then add note

&model_name

Do this for each instance.
