Is is possible to scale text based objects (e.g. labels) as a form is resized. You know how with MS-Word you can select a "zoom ratio" which retains the same nominal text size, but makes the text larger/smaller depending on the ratio selected.
I know that I can adjust the font size depending upon the size of the form, but only within the confines of the font sizes available. Also this needs some code to choose the right font.
Any ideas ??

Coincidentally, I've found the answer to my own question, is case it's of interest to anyone else.

The solution appears to be the use of a Windows API function CreateFontIndirect from the gdi32.dll library (its definition can be found in the API viewer). This appears to allow fonts of virtually any size and orientation to be drawn, based upon an existing truetype font.

At the moment I haven't found how to use this with labels, textboxes etc. because the function requires a "device context" (hDC) property for the destination object. I can use it for drawing within forms and pictureboxes though.
