HI I want to set my drafting standard. where a can do this. I heard about a text file where I can set this

You can set it in tools-standard but you have to start catia in admin mode to be able to change the standards.

how do you start catia(v5) in admin mode?

Try this in the directory catia is installed:

cnext -admin

of course you need the right permissions to do it in your working environment.

Hi,

AGAIN , you will have plenty of information about admin and XML files in the online doc.

Forums are nice but try to read the online doc first you will learn something and find the complete info there...

the -admin is not enough... look for standard in the online doc.

Then if you have a problem, use the forum.
