Testing internal engine components by applying hydraulic pressure

I am looking for literature and information regarding testing IC engine components with high pressure hydraulic force. I am currently testing pistons, rods, crankshafts with servo-hydraulic load frames Contacted vendors that sell this equipment (referred to as direct injection)and have gotten limited information. This process allows me to test all the components simultaneously by applying hydraulic load into the combustion chamber. This type of testing has been around for some time. I am just looking white papers, companies who have used this type of testing, and recommendations.
