Hello,
I need to test a pipe line with flanges class 300, the MAWP of flanges is 677 psi and the required test is 939 psi. Can I do it?

Than you.

Yes. This is referred to as a Full Flange hydro. You are using 1.5 times the roomtemperature MAWP of that flange. FWIW, this is my preferred hydro pressure for pipe systems that have only percentage x-ray [vs. 100% x-ray]. It works VERY well - learned this technique from CONOCO refinery. After a Full Flange hydro, anywhere you put that pipe spool, it will have been tested adequately for any design pressure of the existing system.
