Hi
I am trying to create a template i.e. a plate with the correct section properties. But then I want to keep one as a template and open it change the plan sizes and save it as a new element/ job but when I am trying to do this I am just re writing over the initial template and instead of having say 5 different (.ODE)sized elements (Same thickness, same properties)I am left with just 1 in the file which is the last one I analysed. I guess I am missing something quite simple here.
Many Thanks for any help

It seems that the best approach in this case will be to create multiple models with different settings in the same cae database (you can use Copy Model option to make it easier). Because if you have only one model for edits and submit the job after each change of geometry then you get separate inp and odb files but can’t access modified geometry anymore.
