Hi,
Can anyone suggest a simple formula for ball-park figures, or direct me to a table of results, for the temperature gradient along a steel gas turbine exhaust ducting, 36 metres (110 feet) in length, 2.5 metres (7.5feet) diameter, where the initial temperature concerned is 450 degC. This assumes full surrounding air cooling of ambient 15 degC and free flowing air (variable). If this is at all possible to calculate I would much appreciate the assistance.
