Temp. Generator Voltage Regulation 1

Greetings,
For rental generators equipped with voltage regulation option, does that mean that for 240/139V, 3 phase output configuration, the 139V output can be adjusted to 120V?

First, the voltage regulator is not an option on gen-sets.
Some small sets are capacitor excited, but it is not possible to add a conventional AVR to these sets.
An AVR is a standard piece of equipment on normally excited sets.
A common range of AVR adjustment on many AVRs on many sets is from 208 Volts for 120/208 Volt systems to 277 Volts for 277/480 Volt systems.
If you want 240 Volts 3 phase and 120 Volts, an AVR will not help you.
You can however use a four wire delta connection for 240 Volts 3 Phase and 120/240 Volts single phase.

By the way, most rental companies will not be happy with customer adjustments on their sets.
They should be able to set the voltage that you need before the set leaves their shop.
