Could be end of curve NPSHR, rated point should be less
NPSHA at rated temp? Max temp (not specified) will be less

Call it a wash at best, and you've still got no margin.
 
Exactly. I suspect they used low level of the tank. Normal level is 20 ft. I may do a quick NPSH calc to confirm. Just never seen a datasheet where the NPSHa was shown as less than NPSHr.
 
Also, verify the current operation system and compare them with the design data in the "brownish" paper. And, the operation conditions could be changed but not updated in the doc.
