1-1B-40 does not appear to be a valid T.O. number. What is the title of the T.O. You are looking for?

That is a C-130 crew handbook... and is most-likely FOUO... and MAY be ITARs restricted, too.

the TO 1-1B-40 is a general USAF technical order related to weight and balance of aircrafts. There you will find some general procedures and definitions.

In any case, you must refer to the specific W&B manual of your aircraft for detailed information about how is computed the basic weight and where it is measured, there you should find what are the weight and CG limits you must respect to ensure the stability and controllability of you’re A/C

The 1-1B-50 is the Weight and Balance T.O... >NOT< 1-1B-40. The 1-1B-50, and several other very useful General T.O.s, are available for public down-load from the following website...

I checked it a few minutes ago in our technical library and I found that originally the TO 1-1b-40 "weight and Balance Data" were a handbook for crewmembers complementary to the TO 1-1b-50 "Weight and Balance", but now the 1-1b-40 is canceled and all the information were supersedes by the last version of the TO 1-1b-50.

I'm trying to acquire the C.G. Limitations for the C-130A, that's it.

If anyone could help, that would be great.

That should be the specific weight & balance data for the C-130. Designation should be 1C-130A-5 - Basic Weight Checklist & Load Data.
