Hello!
In HydroCAD, If my subcatchment has a time of concentration with channel flow that leads to pipe flow is it necessary to connect the subcatchment to a channel (reac node) that then connects to a culvert (pond node)or am I double counting something? Seems like I would need the nudes as well since Time of concentration is only used to calculate the peak flow of the watershed.

Thank you!

Each flow segment should only appear in the model once. A pipe can sometimes be modeled as a Tc flow segment, if it occurs near the head of a watershed and does not restrict the flow. Otherwise a pond/culvert is the recommended solution. For details please see
