Tamper resistant screw specs

Is there a specification (ANSI, ASME, etc.) that governs the features and dimensions of pin-in-hex tamper resistant machine screws? I need to create a specification control document for such a screw and my Machinery's Handbook is 26 years old!

I don't think so.

ASME B18.3 defines the dimensions of a standard internal hex, but I don't see any mention of anti-tamper pins.

pick a type of head and build the screw to fit. There is no "industry standard" for tamper proof, cause there's really no such thing just like a bulletproof design, theres always some "idiot" that will find his way around it.

The entire idea behind having a TR drive is for it not to be part of a regular standard. You can go on line to Textron and get the Torx TR standards, but they are the ones who control them not an independent organization. The most common TR drives are the post hex and post Torx, you can pick oyour choice. Make sure that you have a source for the drive bits for whatever system you choose. Having to have special bits made up costs a bloody fortune.
