Guys,

When I run a mass properties report and open it in excel everything is in column A. Is there a way of getting excel to display the columns properly?

Cheers

Dave

Select all the first column and use the command "text in column" (under "data" tab).

select "limited" as option in the first tab, click "next", and in second tab check "other" and type "=" in the box. Next and finish.

Excel is able to divide text and numbers with the criteria you want to use.

Sorry if the name of commands are not exactly the same, but I use an Italian version of Office (2007), and I tried to imagine the correct english buttons.

Bye

Blackline,

That partially works, but only for the first fourlines containing an "=" sign. Doesn't help me with the CofG, Inertia, Inertia tensor, and Mass Properties of Components of the Assembly data.

Ihave 255 lines of information. Is there no way ProE can output this for Excel?

Thanks

Dave
