Trying to sort out the details of a BOM repeat region I have created, specifically what I am doing incorrectly.
Sometimes when I create the repeat regions/nested regions the BOM updates sometimes it does not?

<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Have done the following:
Create format complete with BOM table
Created test assembly, complete with required BOM parameters
Created drawing utilizing format
Imported assembly model into drawing
Created parameters for respective BOM fields
Created repeat regions
Created nested repeat regions

I am following what I believe to be the correct steps for the BOM to auto populate but I have not been able to get the desired outcome every time I make an attempt at this, any thoughts or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

your procedure seems completely perfect.
What's the error?
What are your region parameters?
How you want table to appear?

Try a "Refresh Sheet" or a complete Regen of the drawing.

Cheers

I know sometimeswhen you've called out fora paramemter like asm.mbr.parameter1 but a bunch of components do not have that parameter at all or it's an empty parameter (like TITLE with nothing entered in the value field),the repeat region will lump those components together in one row. That happens when asm.mbr.parameter1 is the parameter used to organize or sort the region.

Got it to work... not sure what the deal was... thank you all for the help

I wish I knew the rules for the paginate process prior to using draft notes for the BOM titles

I'll be glad when I have the messy time consuming details sorted out

The model needs to be in the drawing before you add the format. Then it will populate. If you add the format/BOM first, the values will not populate is it will be stuck with whateverit has at thatt time.
