I am experiencing problems with mirrored assemblies in my models. The mirrored assemblies seem to loose their relationship to the model and sometimes the complete mirrored assembly or parts of it move to random positions in space. I find that the only way to fix this is to delete the mirrored assembly and redo it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this.

yep, i feel your pain. i too have found big problems mirroring assemblies. sorry but i am yet to find an answer.

I too have face the same problem. But i was able to solve out the problem in Catia V5r7 byusing Fixit option.

Hi,
you can try this method,
once you complete mirroring the parts or a subassembly,
Creat new product in the main assembly and copy all the symmetry parts into it, and delete the mirrored one. This will loose the positional link with the original parts but it will have the geometrical link. And you will not have any of those problems.
I think this will help you
