Is there an SWPS out there from the AWS folks that details the welding of structural aluminum. I have found the one for 18-10 gauge aluminum but cannot find one any higher.
This is probably a stupid question but in the Allowable joint design section of the SWPS's (B2.1-1-016-94 for instance) there is no configuration for a fillet weld. Is it to be assumed that all fillet welds are covered using the process's and parameters of the PQR for this WPS or is a secondary WPS required for fillet weld qualification.
