sweep with select trajctory

why i can't make solid protrusion and surface with sweep curve

trajectory if i make the curve with thru point and spline ?

ex. i will making cable

how can i make it ...if somebody knows the other way

Use a swept blend instead.

can you explain your problem a little more. i don't get what you are asking. are you creating a protusion, in this case a cable, and it won't let you sweep it along a spline?
